The ED107 PolyDAC is a 4-channel MIDI-CV Converter originally designed by Paul Maddox and later released as open source.
The module comprises of 4 Voice Channels, 4 x CC outputs with support for Pitch Bend and Modulation Wheels.
All analogue outputs have 12-bit resolution and range from 0V to 10V except Pitchbend which is -1V to +1V.
The current ED107 firmware uses a 'Regular Cyclic' Mode for MIDI Note assignment. Incoming MIDI notes are assigned to the next free voice (even if it is the same note played repeatedly). So, each time you play a note it will step through and assign channels '1' then '2' then '3' then '4' then back to '1' again as you play. If you hold a note, new notes will be assigned to the next voice in that order that is free. If all voices are already assigned to held notes, the next note will use the lowest voice held.

When set to on and a new note comes in whilst an old one is held, the gate will ‘dip’ briefly
(Poly mode only)
This allows you to select what happens to incoming notes when you have 4 held down.
Poly1 new notes are ignored, Poly 2 the oldest note is replaced
This allows you to assign MIDI CC’s to the 4 ‘CV’ outputs.
